Puzzle Description:

Kitten batting a ball.

It's hard, but there's only color logic needed to finish this one.

Great image and puzzle for its size; thanks!

This is a great puzzle!! I love the image and it was a challenge to solve with no guessing. Patience was needed and a fair amount of color logic. Quite fun.

Thank you. This is a very old one that has finally yielded to my poking and prodding. It was too cute an image to give up on.

Wow - fantastic puzzle, Joe. I'm so glad you poked and prodded this one into completion. This is the kind of color logic I enjoy. And the image is adorable.

i love it! one of the best ever. you can actually see the intensity of the cat's stare and the tension in its arm/paw as it's toying with the ball.

I agree that the cuteness quotient (CQ™) makes it not for the faint-hearted.

It took around fifteen stabs at it to make it solvable without a practically solid background. It got very frustrating. I tried making the kitten's lines and colors larger, but the cuteness protested.

I'm glad it was worth the effort.

Loved it! I like how you used the blue to make the image really stand out. I too am glad that you persevered and published an awesome puzzle.

Thanks for the compliments. Its nice to see old puzzles being commented on. It doesn't happen very often, but then, this puzzle (#8590) at 1 1/2 years old is half way to the beginning now. (The current newest puzzle is #16395.)

I guess I should start making some new puzzles. If only I could find some time somewhere.

I'm late to the party, but I want to tell you I just loved this one. Thank you. The solve and the image were both terrific. I was once given a gift that looks almost exactly like this -- a lapel pin with the kitten made of Swarovski crystals and a pearl for the ball.

Thanks, this is one of my favorites that I've made.

Thanks! I'm glad old ones are still being played!
There are now almost three times as many puzzles after this as before.
