cool weapon :-)#2: BlackCat (BlackCat) on Apr 18, 2010
I like the idea of the puzzle. The image is a little weak though I did know what it was.#3: Kylie :) (misty) on Apr 18, 2010
Haha, agreed Tom... you wouldn't want to get on the wrong end of that! :D#4: bugaboo (bugaboo) on Apr 18, 2010 [SPOILER]
And BlackCat, I agree with you. It was a puzzle I really wanted to do, but it didn't turn out super well. I wanted it to be just black and white, but I couldn't make that solvable while still looking good. I was just looking for a way around colouring the whole thing in. It was surprisingly difficult to draw, actually, considering it's such a simple shape. I appreciate the constructive criticism.
Thank you both for the comments! :)

it looks like it just came back fresh from decapitating someone, with all that blood on it
nice, Kylie. my son brought me back one of these from australia.#6: Kylie :) (misty) on Apr 18, 2010 [SPOILER]
Haha I guess it does look like that, bugaboo... I figured red would work better than blue or green, since they're meant to be more earthy tones. But I guess it's not such a bad effect :D#7: Sallie Wilbur (sarriemom) on Apr 18, 2010
And Linda, that's awesome! Have you ever been to Australia yourself?

Nice puzzle, Kylie-Misty (what would you like to be called?)#9: Kylie :) (misty) on Apr 20, 2010 [SPOILER]
I tried making a boomerang once in B&W and could not make it solvable. So I like how you did this one. It was a fun "aha" experience when I "got it" half way through.
(I hate it when people overuse quotation marks.)
(But I like parenthetical phrases.)
Kylie would be good, thanks Teresa.
Hahaha agreed... I'm trying to think of a way to incorporate both into a sentence ("parenthetical phrases", that is). Didn't really work :D
And thank you, glad you liked it! It was the best I could come up with, since a thicker outline produced a somewhat "ugly" result (there we go!)
