I hadn't a clue. Extensive googling led me to the fact that the Danger Mouse character in the English "Danger Mouse" animated series wears a red patch on his chest with the initials "DM" emblazoned on it in white. I guess this is that.#2: Wombat (wombatilim) on Mar 24, 2010 [SPOILER]
A bad bit of character design, by the way, since it made it hard to translate his name into other languages.

I remember buying the complete DVDs cheap on eBay, because I loved them as a kid, especially the theme song.
As an adult, the theme song drove me nuts quickly. But it was easy to fast-forward, and I still enjoyed the show!
"Danger Mouse, our house!" (is about all I remember)
