Puzzle Description:

View from the top of the second hill of the Magnum XL-200 roller coaster at Cedar Point. This is a view looking out over Lake Erie. The bottom right is the inside of the car. The red above is the track with black support bars. The white dots in the water are boats on Lake Erie. The black bar towards the top is a sand bar that juts out into the lake. The red/blue on the left are more parts of the roller coaster that you will get to later. The green parts are trees. The white along the top is the sky. More information in the comments.

I went to Cedar Point one time on a family vacation. The Magnum XL-200 was my favorite roller coaster there. It takes one minute to get to the top of the first hill. It has two very tall hills (and drops) with the second hill looking out over Lake Erie. So who out there has taken a ride on this coaster?

Not me for sure! Thanks for your entry!

Not me, but I have been on several others that are similar.

superb puzzle idea )))

I love coasters but have not yet been to Cedar Point. It's on the list. Interesting idea for a puzzle and a nice challenge to solve.

Loved it. Thanks for the explanation. Great puzzle idea.

I never would have guessed that this was a Gator puzzle.

I also never would have guessed what it depicted.

I have been to Cedar Point, but I didn't ride the Magnum XL-200 because it wasn't invented yet. It was probably sometime around 1980 that I was there. At the time, my favorite coaster was the Gemini, which apparently still exists, though it is more than 30 years old.

The color logic was lots of fun!

I love roller coasters, but I have never been on that one.

Well, it's not a typical Gator puzzle because I really don't have time to do one, but I caved in to Jota's and Teresa's prodding and made this one in under 10 minutes.

great, especially for the 10 minutes of creation time. I've never been there but sounds fun. :)

Magnum is my fave as well. I wouldn't get on it til a couple of years ago because I am afraid of heights! I don't even like to go on the top of my one story house. I just decided not to let my fear ruin the experience, and it was well worth it.

I have. The first time I went to visit my friend in Ohio, in October 2007, we drove up to Cedar Point. I think my favorite was Top Thrill Dragster.

Gator--I don't know how to write you about another puzzle so I chose one I've solved. :) How do you decide which puzzle to test for solvability? (Must be spelled wrong.) I thought I solved #2298 without guessing or edge logic but others said they had to use edge logic. I'd love your opinion. (Thanks.)
