was at work, heard something as happen in NY open up pc to see a plane crash in tower 2 live it was hard to believe at first that this was real. It was way to big and desastrous to be true. Problem was it was true. Rest of the day was all rumour and misinformation about possible other target with many skyscapper evacuate both in the U.S. ans in Canada. And the only thing I had in mind that whole time was: I didn't tell my wife I love her before leaving to work.

Even if we were never in danger here in Montreal during that whole day its a feeling that never leave me after that and now they're isnt a day I leave the house without telling my wife and kids how much I love them, so if anything is to happen I won't have the regret of not having tell them.

Sylvain, thanks for sharing your experience. I hope you inspire others to be more aware of how fragile life is and how important it is to communicate our love to those with whom we share that life, while we have the chance.

cool perspective on this one and fun to solve. I remember being in high school chem class and someone ran in and brought us to the televisions and as sylvain said, it was hard to believe it was real. i spent the rest of the day waiting to hear from my dad who works in NYC to make sure he was alright, since cell phones were jammed all day.. scary day but definitely makes you appreciate things.

nice image and solve.
I'll never forget that day either, though I wasn't in NY nor did I know anyone personally involved. It's the kind of thing you'll never forget...where you were when you heard, what you were doing, how you felt, etc.
#11: Adam Nielson (monkeyboy) on Jan 18, 2010
So, telly, where were you, etc?
#12: Jota (jota) on Jan 18, 2010
Oh you're so funny!
#13: Adam Nielson (monkeyboy) on Jan 18, 2010
To Jota: HUH? Who was being funny? I asked telly where she was when she heard about 9-11.
#14: Jota (jota) on Jan 18, 2010
I thought you knew that's all ... I don't know why ... Me bad?

I was at the gym working out on an eliptical machine when I saw the story. So sad. I too didn't think it could possibly be real.
#16: Kristen Vognild (kristen) on Jan 27, 2012
I was 8mo. pregnant when I saw the towers fall. I had to go on bed rest from the stress.

Sadly many have forgotten, Some call it ugly names to remember the evil. The hatred of the USA still exists.
