For five years, my son and I have walked our dog together. Now that he's away at college, Tawny and I look forward to Chris's visits so we can walk and talk.

Very fun challenge, and nice image too. What a nice thing to look forward to. My son Chris lived at home while he went to college, then he moved away when he started his career. So I too look forward to visits from my Chris so we can enjoy our walks and talks. :-)

Living in a college town has its advantages -- the kids can go "away" to school but coming home on a Sunday afternoon is no hassle! It's truly the best of both worlds. We miss having him here every day but know that it's time to let him fly. Meanwhile, our daughter graduated from college and has moved back home...

College days: independence at its best... or at its worst, I don't remember. :-)
