Fantastic puzzle, Brian.

I was able to solve this with logic alone, no guessing. Here's how:

I did line logic as far as I could. When I got stuck, I noticed that the possible placements of the red and green in R15 gave me a clue for the black in C8. That showed me where to color in just one more black, and then I was able to move forward with line logic and color logic.

At the end, I could see the color logic for the reds in Rows 9-11.

Most of the puzzle solved pretty simply with line and color logic. I ended up with just the lips to solve. It's a bit tricky to explain my logic at that point, but if the red 7 was too far to the left or right, then you'd get a contradiction with two red threes two rows above. This meant that the red seven had to be near the middle, and allowed me to fill in several red squares there, and then things went pretty easily.

Found to be logically solvable by jan.

The lips seemed a variation on smile logic, to me, only 2 rows thick instead of 1.

Ditto #4. I got to the lips last as well, and solved it with smile logic. Jan, I was able to place the 7 to either extreme in row 11, without creating a contradiction for row 9.
At that point, I had 9 out of the 11, and 11 of the 13 filled in in rows 6/7, and all of the 11 in row 10 filled in. Did I miss something else?

That was a great image and a fun puzzle.

#5 - If you tried to place the 7 clue in row 11 too far to the left or right, you would end up with 4 or more reds in a row on row 9 (which cannot be as it needs "3 3"). Not sure how you were not able to create a contradiction on row 9.
