Puzzle Description:

Metal goblet and decorative plate. See comments.

This puzzle image can have any of several meanings. In one sense, it is decorative tableware: a metal goblet for wine, mead etc., and a silver plate with an ornate pattern. In another context, these are liturgical objects used in Christian "high-church" communion services: a chalice and a paten.

I hope nobody minds the Latin puzzle title! =)

Really nice image, Robyn. I recognized it as chalice and paten.

One of the perks of having studied Latin I knew exactly what it was.
