Puzzle Description:

Northern Mockingbird, my favorite songbird. It symbolizes innocence in the Harper Lee novel To Kill a Mockingbird.

nice image and a tricky but fun solve. :)

It looks like he is in the act of leaving a "present" on unsuspecting people below him. :-)

Adam, this was an experiment in using "implied" lines... the outer feathers on a Mockingbird's tail are white, and I thought a full line would have looked too heavy. Now thanks to your comment I don't know if I'll ever be able to look at this puzzle the same way again. Gives new meaning to the term "spoiler"! =)

fun to do a puzzel that starts in the middle more than the edges.

Lovely! Fun to solve.

A good novel. Way better than the movie. I love anti-prejudice stories, and being told by a child's POV was genius. I loved Scout and her innocent view of the "mockingbird" on trial.
