Puzzle Description:

The classic American hobo used markings like these to communicate with each other during the 1800's and 1900's. Today, they communicate by cell phone. See comments for the meanings of these symbols.

Very neat. Somewhat more challenging than 1 and 2 of the series, in my opinion. I enjoyed it. :)

the kind woman symbol looks like a plump woman and the two objects appear to be shoes. very interesting.

Very educational. :) I never knew there were hobo signs although my mom (who is now 90) used to talk about hobos coming to their house for a handout. Now I wonder if they had signs near her home. :0

Hey, wait. Now they communicate by cell phone? They aren't as poor as they would have us believe.

It's not so expensive to buy a cell phone. I got one for my poor kids (on SSI) for $20 and they pay for minutes as they go.

#6 that's what I have too. I spend about $100/yr on cell phone minutes for a $15 flip phone.
