Very nice image.

I was able to solve it after a few missteps, but it all seemed logical at the time. :)

Found to require some guessing by gator.

i was thinking i was the only one who couldnt figure out a way to solve this logically either

after all the line/color logic i started using edge logic on the 2 clue in r4 (it cant go in c27/28) which gives you dots in those columns
then look at the top 1 clues in c32/33
they cant both go in r2 (only a 1 left) so at least one of them must go in r4
and because r4 only has a 2 clue left we know both of the 1 clues in c32-33 must go in r4 (and at least of them must be in c32 or c33 [but it could be both] so you can dot the rest of r4
then you can use edge logic (or smile logic) on the 2 clue in r5 to get the rest of the top done but after that i was stuck in the lower right corner

Ok, I think I got it this time.

I don't think I guessed anywhere, but as I was solving I was thinking that this is the kind of puzzle I love. Challenging but solvable and a beautiful picture at the end. It deserves a prize.
