Puzzle Description:

It's a lantern hanging on a tree. Typical finnish landscape as background :)

#1: Nancy Snyder (naneki) on Dec 12, 2008 [HINT]

it's marked has multiple solutions, but it's a no brainer as to where the 2 last pixels will go. so I would consider this one solvable by "common-logic"

Olli thanks for participating in the WC where this week's contestants will be granted all their wishes. You have 2 out of 3 judges thinking it's solvable by logic, since I do too.
Now, why do you want to finish christmas when it hasn't started yet? (JK)

Not a judge, but I solved it with logic too...

What a beautiful tradition. In New Mexico we put out luminaria which are small brown paper bags with sand and a candle on Christmas Eve. It is a lovely sight that is meant to guide the Christ child to your home. Does this have a similar purpose?

Thank you for the nice puzzle.

jota you do know that he mean finnish as in from finland right?
#9: Jota (jota) on Jan 3, 2009
Yes Rea, it was a joke. Thanks.

Weird-- every once in a while I pull up all the puzzles I haven't marked as solved that have multiple solutions and just mark them as solved because I have no interest in solving puzzles with multiple solutions.

This one came up on that list, but it didn't have a ? next to it. So I marked it as solved, then pulled it up and cleared board so I could see what the helper says. There are definitely multiple solutions, but like Naneki says above it's pretty easy to figure out what goes where. It's just weird that the question mark doesn't come up next to the puzzle.

Found to require some guessing by Gator.
