After we started buying artificial trees our cats left the tree alone. Guess they prefer the smell of real trees. :) Gonna be interesting to see how the dog reacts to his first tree. lol

one year our Christmas tree looked like this ...My ex got up in the middle of the night, came around the corner, ran into it & beat it to pieces (he thought is was a bear)
it still makes me laugh to think about it!

Late to this, but I enjoyed this one. I've experienced the drama of cats and Christmas trees since the early 90s; we've had our carpet supporting the artificial tree peed on before. =/

Absolutely wonderful puzzle. Fun to solve, fun to look at.

Had it happen once. After that my husband put a hook in the ceiling and we tied a wire between the hook and the tree.
