Puzzle Description:
"Ode to Joy" from Beethoven's Ninth Symphony. I transposed it to G Major for the same reason my piano students learn to play the melody in this key - no sharps! I also omitted the key and time signatures for simplicity's sake. Everyone should hear this symphony live at least once in their life!

Very nice! As soon as I saw the notes, I started humming the song. Question: what does "O Freunde, nicht diese Töne" mean? Ah, here's an English translation:#8: Adam Nielson (monkeyboy) on Nov 26, 2008
