Puzzle Description:

The one-eyed robot spy from "Jonny Quest." I enjoyed that cartoon as a child and again when I watched it with my children when they were young.

Fun puzzle

Hah! I loved Jonny Quest, the original, there have been some remakes that just didn't have the same spark. While solving this, once I realized it was a "spider" of sorts, my first thought was the robot in Jonny Quest.

Barely heard of it. What years was it on and which network?

Koreen: The original "Jonny Quest" was shown in 1964-65. Back then most people in the US had access to only 3 channels or fewer, depending on the reception of one's TV antenna. I think it aired on ABC. Although there were only 26 episodes, those episodes were often repeated as reruns. "The New Adventures of Jonny Quest" appeared in 1986. I have no idea what network it was on. The new series was not as good as the original. The episode with the robot spy is one of the two top-rated episodes as per IMDb.

I remember watching it on our 12 or 14 inch black and white TV. I wonder what it would look like on a 60" 4K?
