#1: Adam Nielson (monkeyboy) on Sep 15, 2008 [SPOILER]

I think I had to guess on the cat's tail. Anyone else?
Hey Scott, tell us what each of the objects is, one by one, row by row.

Thank you for your entry.

2nd Row: candle on candle holder & cat statue
3rd row: crystal ball in dragon claw stand & katana
4rd row: book ends (red) & books

Thank you. Awesome.
#4: Minnie Fuerstnau (m.fuerstnau) on Sep 15, 2008 [SPOILER]
Really nice work- I liked this one a lot. My bookshelves always start out like this, then the books end up crowding out the other things.

Thanks!

no guessing fore me. Love the katana.
#6: Beth (Shasta) on Sep 17, 2008
The tail was the last thing I did and no guessing. Is it just the shelves that are dusty? or all the things too? great images for being so small! Thanks
#7: Arduinna (arduinna) on Sep 17, 2008 [HINT] [SPOILER]
Interesting puzzle!

No guessing on the cat tail for me either. There's only one place the 3 can go if you look at the two 1s in the next column.
#8: Gypso (Gypso) on Sep 17, 2008
No guessing for me.
Fun puzzle Scott.
Thanks and good luck in the contest. :-)
#9: Adam Nielson (monkeyboy) on Sep 17, 2008
Fine. I guess am just an idiot retard. Oops.
#10: Gypso (Gypso) on Sep 17, 2008
It's alright Adam. I'm spatially challenge. :o
#11: Adam Nielson (monkeyboy) on Sep 17, 2008
How do you figure?
#12: Gypso (Gypso) on Sep 17, 2008
I run into things that weren't there just moments before. Honest they weren't...
#13: Adam Nielson (monkeyboy) on Sep 17, 2008
Thanks for making me laugh! :-)
#14: Gypso (Gypso) on Sep 18, 2008
Your welcome Adam. :-)
#15: Jane Doe (telly) on Sep 20, 2008
I am a bit spacially challenged too Gypso and I have what I call dropsy...I'm always dropping things.
Nice image btw. Good luck. :)
#16: Arduinna (arduinna) on Sep 22, 2008
Dropsy! I think I have that too, but I always called it Being a Great Big Klutz.
#17: Jane Doe (telly) on Sep 23, 2008

One small bit of smile logic at the end. Fun solve.

Found to be solvable with moderate lookahead by valerie.
#21: Bill Eisenmann (Bullet) on Aug 25, 2021 [SPOILER]
I thought dropsy was another name for narcolepsy, but Mr. Google tells me it's edema. Score another teaching point for webpbn!

Great puzzle! (But the cat is not a statue - he's hunting the mouse hiding behind the bookend!)

The mouse is thinking, if I could only get to that sword ...
