After LL/CL

EL 4 c1 = r2-6 white
LL/CL

EL 8 c45 places it
LL/CL to finish

(This is yet another puzzle that became re-votable, and when I went to re-set the mod-lookahead, my finger slipped.)

Ok, so I just solved this puzzle using ONLY logic that has previously been established as (line and/or) color logic. As I understand it, color logic can include multi-line logic (ie, "there are only green clues left in this column, but only black clues left in this row, so the intersection must be blank"). Compared to this example, I had to look at groups of a color, as in, "can the green two clue in this column sit in these two rows", but I never did anything that constituted edge or two-way logic (or summing, etc.).

Joe, I'm not going to re-rate the solvability because you're a more reliable judge of things like this, but it's worth a resolve. Great image, solve and challenge!

true dat!

It is extremely unlikely to be LL/CL solvable as the solver could not solve it. The Create solver is very competent in LL/CL solving.

Because CL is much like EL, sometimes you can end up slipping some EL in without realizing it.

I agree with everything you said. Also, I saw the rating on it and was very careful. The solve was way too complicated to track a walk-through. Would you be up for posting a screenshot where you see CL hit the wall?

This is where I can find no more CL (I have a migraine, though)
