After LL & CL finish all but four unknowns,

You could finish this by plain old edge logic on the 1 in r24; or, you could use cool, fashionable summing logic:

The vertical clues say there must be two more green pixels.
The horizontal clues say there must be 1+blob more.
Therefore the blob must be extended by one pixel.

Found to be solvable with moderate lookahead by infrapinklizzard.

Hm. The solver is able to solve it, so my guess is that there's a way to solve it with line logic.

Pretty sure it was all line/color logic for me. Fun solve.

As Marvin the Martian said, "Where's the Kaboom?! There's supposed to be an earth-shattering Kaboom!"

Scary.

This puzzle, with the blots, is definitely not solvable with only line logic. It is LLS without the blots, though. Perhaps, Valerie, you looked at the solvability of #34323? (I'm not even sure why there is a separate version as I did not request to make a new version at any point.)

If you have already solved this, you can reload the blank puzzle and press the "Helper" button. It will bring you to the position of my hint in #1. At that point you can see that no single line or column can be added to without referring to another.

Joe - I tried the solver on it again, and *thought* it had filled in the entire puzzle, but then I looked back at your comment #1 here, and, when I looked carefully, I saw that indeed there are two unsolved pixels that I hadn't noticed. My apologies!

The blots make it interesting, nice puzzle.

Well, it was a tough solve. Very colorful. Not sure how accurately it illustrates the story.
