Puzzle Description:

Sorry about the lack of puzzles--I have a fractured ankle and there are two staircases between me and my computer. Creating puzzles isn't easy on a phone.

#1: Susan Eberhardt (susaneber) on Jul 17, 2019

Oooh! Get better fast.
#2: Bill Eisenmann (Bullet) on Jul 17, 2019 [SPOILER]
Judging from the size of your crutch, I'd estimate your height to be about 50 squares...

Sorry about your injury. Hope it heals completely!

Wow, I just realized you foretold your convalescence when you unleashed that huge torrent of puzzles a little while ago (cue eerie Twilight Zone music...)
#3: Lollipop (lollipop) on Jul 17, 2019
Rather extreme lengths to go to just to avoid making puzzles. We'd have given you a (virtual) break if you'd only just asked.

Get well soon, Joe.

#4: CB Paul (cbpaul) on Jul 17, 2019
Eesh! Speedy recovery to you. And no apologies necessary, of course.
#5: Kristen Vognild (kristen) on Jul 17, 2019
Like Lollipop said, sure, we appreciate new puzzles, but not to the detriment of your health!
#6: Aurelian Ginkgo (AurelianGinkgo) on Jul 17, 2019
Get better soon so that you can get back to everything that you enjoy.
#7: Teresa K (fasstar) on Jul 17, 2019
Oh no! I hope you are not experiencing too much pain, or withdrawal either. I hope you recover quickly with not too much discomfort or inconvenience.
#8: Carol Brand (KarylAnn) on Jul 17, 2019
Oh so sorry to read of your misfortune! I hope family and friends have supplied you with lots of puzzle books in place of the computer. Wishing you a speedy recovery!
#9: Norma Dee (norm0908) on Jul 17, 2019
Soooooooo sorry! Heal fast.
#10: Jota (jota) on Jul 17, 2019
Aw! Get well soon!
#11: Ki Bitzar (kibitzar) on Jul 18, 2019
Get well soon!
#12: JoDeen Mozena (ozymoe) on Jul 18, 2019 [SPOILER]
Adding my "Get Well Soon" to the chorus, Joe. I hope infrapink lizzards have as remarkable self healing abilities as regular lizards. I've always loved your choice of game name.
#13: Joanne Firla (JoFirla) on Jul 18, 2019
I also wish you a speedy recovery. You will be mobile again soon enough, and those of us who are fans of your puzzles will cheer when you are able to return on a regular basis. Hang in there.
#14: Joe (infrapinklizzard) on Jul 19, 2019
Thanks, everyone. I'm in a giant boot for at least the next three weeks, but hopefully I'll be off the crutches in only one. It still hurts to put any weight on it, though.

Weird coincidence today - in the Featured Puzzles, this one was adjacent to Rosemary's "R", which I likened to the Rossignol ski logo ... (cue more eerie Twilight Zone music ...)
