First I've done of this series so I don't understand it. However, it was a fun puzzle and the blotted challenge was a little better than many I've solved.

Wonderful! Fun series. Here's another take on Time Out, Dave Brubeck's iconic jazz album Time Out featuring the track Take 5. https://youtu.be/nzpnWuk3RjU

I have loved that track ever since I first heard it as the theme tune for "The Secret Life of Machines".

The part they used starts at 4:20 in...

My dad had a few Brubeck albums, so I've known him all my life. Take 5, Unsquare Dance, and Blue Rondo a la Turk were some of his favorites.

Yes, I like Blue Rondo a la Turk too. When I was in my early twenties, I saw Dave Brubeck at Carnegie Hall. It was a wonderful experience in a beautiful venue.

Shortly after getting married we bought a home that was built with cement blocks. One wall in the living room was left natural with only a coat of paint. I remember buying a Dave Brubeck album that came out on light green 45's which I was going to take great care of. I walked in the living room one day to find my toddler son "sanding" the cement block wall with my precious records.

oh, no! He should replace them all with CDs (if you can remember which albums you had)

I wanted to save the album because the records were green and I thought they might make a great collector's item in the future. Not the only thing I gave up. I had several nice buffalo nickles. I had taken them out to show someone and put them on a bookshelf and forgot I put them there. Well, the ice cream truck came by and, you guessed it. Without thinking I had put the nickles in the same place as I put my kids' ice cream money.

you probably made the ice cream man's day!
