Puzzle Description:

Camera comes from the phrase "camera obscura", or "dark chamber" because the first cameras used a pinhole and a dark room (and a person drawing the picture).

So it's kind of fitting that later film cameras needed a "darkroom" to develop the film.

I'll bet the image is just as cool in the negative.

OK, I'm not THAT old, to have been one of those guys ... oh, this one's not about age ...

I took a photography class in college, and we used manual film cameras and did everything by hand. The craziest part was winding the unprocessed film onto a spool, completely by feel inside a lightfast pouch, before inserting the spool in a chemical bath.
