The description is a clue to the subject using cryptic crossword clue rules.

Every cryptic clue is made up of two parts; a definition, and a literal description of the answer using wordplay. They can be in either order (though not intertwined) and there is no separation between them.

To make it more interesting, I see you're dropping the number of letters, which are normally in cryptics.

I must confess, cryptics are not my kind of puzzle. I haven't gotten a single one. But I am enjoying reading the comments to see what it is anyway. This one I at least comprehend (the anagram sort of thing), but some of them... I've read the explanations and I still don't get it. C'est la vie. Everyone has their strengths and weaknesses. It's nice to see everyone else enjoying this series.

Gary, I'm vacillating on that, but I figured that you're getting the picture as an additional clue.
