Nice portrait, Gaynor. I saw Brian's challenge but felt that I'd be better off waiting for the extended palette which includes wrinkles and blotches.

It's still a fun challenge and I love your puzzle.

I, too, have blue-grey-green eyes. I think they're lovely. I heard them described as "grey" eyes a few years back, and it was a bit distressing, but now I love being able to say I have grey eyes. :)

These pixelated puzzles don't allow for details that make us human, so we really can't do subtle details justice. Also, what's wrong with reviving an old challenge? There are a lot of new people since then who were not here for the original challenge. I was even thinking of doing one myself, but I don't like to post my face on the internet. I might make a fake appearance; I don't know yet. If I do, it will probably be wacky just for kicks.

Aurelian - I think I'm safe; I doubt that anyone could recognize me from this puzzle.
Kristen - My husband is red-green colour-blind, so believes I have lovely blue eyes (he also thinks his green suit is grey). My driver's license says "grey", though - just like Pallas Athena.

I did one, but it got lost in the database deletion last year. I'll have to see if I can recreate it.
