I certainly hope not! Keep it up, I think they are great!

I'm just curious. How many of you are also working the tangram puzzles? If you have a tangram set and are doing those puzzles after you have solved these puzzles, please comment "YES" and if not comment "NO".

I'll be honest, Brian, right now, it's not on my mind to make a tangram set and figure out how the shapes fit together. I do like your puzzles, and I like sorta figuring out what might go where from your silhouettes, but no, I have not actually done anything outside of this virtual internet site. In my defense, I am going away for vacation next week, so I have other things on my mind.

We had a set, but it was packed away when the kiddos got older. That being said, I try to look closely and put the pieces together in my mind. I found the set of shapes on the tangram wikipedia page. I think I will cut out the shapes from paper now that I have the suggestion. It will make this set even more fun!

Most of these shapes look familiar from playing with tangrams as a kid (many decades ago). I haven't resolved them for these puzzles, but they bring back memories.

I also have memories of playing with a tangram set. I have played a phone game and showed my daughter how to play it. But I think it would be way more fun to manipulate the pieces manually. So I just printed out a set and will put the shapes together with my kids this weekend. We need to get our noses out of the screen now and then anyway, right?

Like the others, I've been mentally placing tiles.
