Getreidegasse, also known as Grain Lane, is a beautiful street in Salzburg, Austria which dates back to Roman times. These wrought iron guild signs hang above each shop, illustrating the business of the shop; an old tradition that was used in the days when most people were illiterate. This sign was once for a seamstress. When I visited the shop was being inhabited by the clothing store Zara.

That's cool that the modern store just kept the sign. Thanks for the history and the interesting puzzle.

I remember this puzzle and I enjoyed it as much this time as I did before.

Here's a similar sign (upper right)

I used EL to solve the green. Not sure it really matters which edge you use, but I used R11.

Found to be solvable with moderate lookahead by gator.
