Puzzle Description:
Roadrunner and a saguaro
#1: Pam (RhiannonA) on Jul 16, 2017
We have a roadrunner that visits our yard every afternoon.#2: diane v (dmv) on Jul 17, 2017
The cactus lives there. LOL
Maybe it's just too early on a Monday morning, but I found this impossible to solve without many many many many, etc. hints. Off to find some caffeine....#3: Norma Dee (norm0908) on Jul 17, 2017
I resorted to several guesses, also.#4: Teresa K (fasstar) on Jul 17, 2017
We used to see roadrunners in our backyard, but not for a long time now. I think they moved to your neighborhood, Pam. :-)#5: derby (Derby) on Jul 17, 2017
Really nice image, but sadly not solvable without lots of guessing.
Awesome image. I also couldn't solve it without cheating. But loved the final image.#6: Aurelian Ginkgo (AurelianGinkgo) on Jul 18, 2017 [SPOILER]
When one accepts that there is a lot of guessing, it doesn't make the solve so bad. At the parts where logic was available, I found that it was very involved, which is a very enjoyable exercise for one's brain. Or, at least, I liked it. It took some "artist's intuition" toward the end when the image was taking shape. (That term is what I call predictable guessing; I don't know what other people might call it.)
All in all, cool backyard. I've never seen a roadrunner except for the inaccurate depiction on Looney Tunes. Meep meep!
