I have to try this puzzle just because the song is one of my favorites.

Great likeness, but I'm not familiar with the song.

What an awesome puzzle, Kristen. It takes talent to get a nice portrait in a 30x30, and you did it!

That's one crazy song. Perfect for this challenge. :-)

I hadn't heard it before, but I did a search for "30000 pounds", and this song came up. And you know I'm a sucker for a portrait puzzle!

Great likeness Kristen. I can't believe you girls haven't heard this song. Harry Chapin is a great singer and musician. Cats in the cradle is all about a father never having time for his son when his son needs to be with him. Then the son grows up and his father gets old. He is always too busy to spend time with his father when his dad needs him. I'm sure most of you would be familiar with his song titled "Taxi". Great lyrics. :)

Thanks for the puzzle Kristin. Nice likeness. This song was my first thought when I saw the challenge.

Growing up in the New York City area, I spent many Friday nights traveling into Greenwich Village to the Bottom Line to see Harry Chapin. He performed there all the time. His shows were like a Sing-a-long. He was an awesome person. Standing outside talking to fans and signing autographs after every show.
He was tragically lost in an auto crash on the Long Island Expressway. RIP Harry!

Never heard of the song, but throughout the solve I was wondering, "what does a face have to do with bananas?" It was a very clever take on the challenge.

Aurelian, if you've solved many of my puzzles, you'll see that I take any opportunity to do a portrait.

And we are always glad when you do! Good job and a great musician. How lucky you are to have been able to enjoy him in person Pam
