Jewel you've been solving puzzles here for a long time. Have you never wanted to try creating? Were happy that you enjoy our creative minds. :)

I felt like I needed one. I just moved and there was a problem with the telephone cable and I have been without internet for a week. Talk about withdrawal symptoms!

I was able to limp along with my cell phone, but the screen is just too small for pbn. :) So it's good to be back.

Very interesting - I have used the electrically controlled ones many times and can't imagine going back in time to when we didn't have them. I have not been here much lately because my mom died and then a week later my mother-in-law died so I have a lot of catching up to do.

How terrible to lose them so close together. I am so sorry for your losses.

My condolences as well, Susan. That's a lot to take in such a short span of time. Webpbn is a great place to come for respite. Yours is a name I look for when I do puzzles/read the comments. I appreciate our little community here very much.
