Puzzle Description:
Weighing in at 35kg (75lb)and about a metre(3ft)long the wombat is a decidedly cute Aussie critter. To use technical terminology they are built like a brick outhouse. Nocturnal and lumbering, they dig burrows which is annoying to farmers. I fell victim to one of their burrows by stepping in it while running by torchlight. Tore a tendon or two and said some bad words.

Hooray! (For the wombat, not your injuries)#2: robert svanberg (tango) on Apr 21, 2017
Thanks Kristen. Any injury coming from an encounter with a native animal is a badge worn with pride. That's patriotism!#3: Teresa K (fasstar) on Apr 21, 2017
I love puzzles with a story. I hope you recovered okay, Robert.#4: Norma Dee (norm0908) on Apr 21, 2017
Great little image! Sorry about your injury, but glad I wasn't there to hear the bad words.#5: Wombat (wombatilim) on Apr 28, 2017 [SPOILER]
We also poop in cubes, and our pouches are backwards from other marsupials to avoid flinging dirt at the baby.#6: Susan (Susan) on Jun 29, 2017
I get so many new bits of education here! For some reason I thought wombat was a made up animal, like a cartoon character. Thanks for a really interesting puzzle, and a correction to my erroneous assumption, Robert.#7: Evelyn D (Mistraluna) on Dec 29, 2017
