When I saw all those 1s and 2s, it almost scared me off, but it was totally solvable by line logic. Thanks.

I thought the image was of a young student who had not yet learned to keep his wand raised and was casting his spell into the floor.

Cute little puzzle, Colin. The title really drew me in.
