Fractal indeed! No much guessing!

So, since I don't remember how I solved it originally, here is how I solved it this time:

Line logic gives you four lines that meet in the center, and then a bunch of white spaces along the sides of those lines. That is an important point. Look at all those 1s.

LOOK AT THEM.

(sorry)
Now look at rows 5 and 6. There are eight long clues within those two rows. They cannot be next to each other because of all those 1s. Now count the sections of 1s across the board. There are eight (c1-4, c7-9, c12-14, c17-19, c22-24, c27-29, c32-34, and c37-40). Since there are eight long clues and eight sections of 1s crossing them, that means that **none of the long clues can be in more than one section of 1s without causing a conflict in the other row**. [This is a kind of alternating-smile-logic.]

So the left 7 in row 6 cannot fit in the leftmost section of 1s because it would spill over into the second section (in c7). In fact the only place that the left 7 can fit without spilling over into another section is in c5-11.

Then LL to finish.
