Puzzle Description:

When my husband pulled into the driveway, he went to the curb as I had done, staring toward the end of the street. I turned off the stove and joined him. "They arrives about twenty minutes ago. What do you think?" "Dead body in the park?" he joked. "Maybe another rabid squirrel." The summer before, our neighhbor had called the cops about a squirrel acting crazy. After the police put three bullets into the animal and had it tested, rabies was confirmed. We could see Winnie and Skip standing on their front lawn. Their home, four houses from ours, was closest to the park entrance. We walked down to see what they knew. "They won't tell us anything," said Skip. Like kids around a campfire we joked about a mob hit, dismemberments, beheadings, gory garbage bags, hundred of skeletons uncovered in the new sewer line.

This is good. Too bad, Karl is unable to enjoy. I think he likes us getting after him about his criticisms.
