Edge and color logic to finish this one.#3: Joel Lynn (furface1) on Mar 31, 2013
After initial LL
Edge logic on the red 4 in c20 rules out the bottom two pixels. (If it went there, it would conflict in c17.) Then color logic will get you all but 3 pixels of the red.
Edge logic on the 6 in r1 vs the 5 in r2 rules out c1-8 and c20. Deep edge logic on that 6 rules out c9. (If the 6 was in c9-14, then there'd be two blocks in r4 where there's only one clue.) Then some LL.
Edge logic on the 5 in c17. If it reaches below r13, then it will create a conflict in c14. So c17r14-15 must be dotted.
Then LL to finish.
I guess I'm a shallow person. I had to use your hints to get through this one. "Deep edge logic" to me is more like trial and error. And what does the title mean?#4: Craig Smilovitz (crs17) on Mar 31, 2013
I solved this. I don't distinguish between what logic or guessing I use. But I still don't understand the picture. What is supposed to indicated "hark word"?#5: Joe (infrapinklizzard) on Mar 31, 2013 [HINT] [SPOILER]
Is a "kniferism" a pun that really sticks it to you?
