good solve! got no idea...

kinda looks like a caterpillar...perhaps it's Alice in wonderland? Or maybe medusa...although mythology doesn't qualify as a fairy tale in my mind. I also see a maze which could be any number of stories. I guess I am just stabbing in the dark.

Is it the back side of Rapunzel's tower in the forest?

yeah, looks like a slit of a window in a vine-covered brick wall.....Rapunzel sounds good. first glance and it looks like a keyhole, but that doesn't make sense. easy to see the brick wall now

Yes, it's Rapunzel's hair hanging out a stone tower's window. The stone wall with window was pretty clear until I put Rapunzel in, but what are ya gonna do?

Ruby has a good point, Rapunzel's tower didn't have vines - why would the hair be needed otherwise? Well, maybe these ivy vines were anemic and ripped out easily. Yeah, that's it.

What a relief to see that others wrestled with identifying this image. Usually I stare and stare and can't make anything out, only to open the comments section and see that everyone else figured it out in a snap.
