504 error...site is slooooow again today.

not sure what song you had in mind, but I bet you can guess the band in my latest in less than a sec...

this is extraordinarily tough for a 15x15.... r14c15 must be a dot, or you'll get a contradiction in the bottom of c14. solves with ll from there

Kurt - I agree with the pixel in r14 - I got it with internal edge logic on r14's 5. However, there is still much advanced logic to go. Mostly edge logic of various flavors.
#8: Tom King (sgusa) on Dec 4, 2012 [HINT]
I did all the edge logic first, then dotted 14c15 and it solved out with line logic. Fun puzzle, Tom

you're right, Joe...like Tom, I used el early. just mentioned the part that got me stuck for a bit... I prob already had some dots and blacks that made it solve with ll after...

So, this is the first time that I have won "absolutely nothing". Congrats to me.
#22: Gator (gator) on Apr 25, 2017 [HINT]
After some line logic, look at where the 4 can go in R15. No matter where it is placed (and it can't go in some places without making R14 invalid), R14C2-3 will always be black.

Look at R1 and you will see most of it can be dotted with edge logic. R1C1-5 and R1C12-15 will be dotted. LL

Do the same edge logic with R2. R2C1-4 and R2C13-15 will be dotted. LL to finish.

Nice puzzle.
