Puzzle Description:

Ken Dryden's famous hockey mask. NHL goaltender with the Montreal Canadiens from 1971 to 1979. He was/is an idol and an inspiration to many.

What a weird masK. I had to look him up to see.

Contrary to popular belief, it's not a target; but in fact, concentric white, red and blue "C"s in the shape of the Canadiens' logo (which can be seen in Kristen's link).
My image is showing the right side of Ken's face:

He was a superb goalie, and it was always interesting when he got interviewed - instead of the stereotype hockey player "We all have to give 110%." he was articulate and provided an excellent analysis of what was happening in the game. Now he is in the Senate. (I think he is coming up to mandatory retirement age soon actually.) When the play was at the other end of the rink (most of the time - the Canadiens were a powerful team in those days) Ken would stand with his stick straight up and down, with his hands resting on the top of the stick.

Lovely solve! Excellent image! Thanks!
#9: Aldege Cholette (aldege) on Jun 20, 2012 [SPOILER]
Excellent image Kadou,it looks just like him. Ken was a fabulous goalie, and one of the most intelligent athletes ever to don a pair of skates. He was a lawyer while playing hockey,he became GM of the Habs organization, and then went into politics. He will always be best known for that casual stance in front of his net.:)

Very enjoyable challenge to solve, Kadou. Great idea for the color theme.

Here's an interview with Ken, that begins with pictures of other interesting hockey masks.

John, Mr Dryden is not in the Senate; but, he was a member of the Canadian Parliament from 2004 to 2011.

Aldege, Mr Dryden was never General Manager of the Montreal Canadiens (a.k.a. the Habs); but, he was president of the Toronto Maple Leafs from 1997 to 2003.
