Puzzle Description:

Packing a box for moving

#1: Joel Lynn (furface1) on May 7, 2012 [SPOILER]

Finishing up our move to upstate NY next week. Lots of boxes.
#2: Kristen Vognild (kristen) on May 7, 2012 [SPOILER]
Nice box. It could use a kitten inside. :)
Shameless plug: 15040

I like cats, but don't want to live with one. At my new place, I can visit with 5 cats anytime at my sister-in-law's about a half mile up the road. There is also a friendly calico that visits our porch now and then.

How far upstate? People from NYC consider anything past Nyack upstate. The rest of the state pretty much considers upstate to be past the SE triangle-shaped bit.

As to kittens, yesterday I was at a coffeeshop that had a sign that proclaimed "Unattended children will be given espresso and a free kitten."

Joe, pretty far up - actually sort of western NYS, about halfway between Syracuse and Rochester, on Lake Ontario. North of the Fingerlakes.
#6: Teresa K (fasstar) on May 7, 2012
I like. Cool title too.
#7: Kadou (Kadou) on May 7, 2012
Just a little comment left on this one...
Nice!
:)
#8: Jota (jota) on May 7, 2012 [SPOILER]
Good luck! And when you're finished with the boxes send them to Aldege.
#9: Brian Bellis (mootpoint) on May 7, 2012 [SPOILER]
I hope the move goes smoothly.
#10: Aldege Cholette (aldege) on May 8, 2012 [SPOILER]
I must say,you have a fine looking box.Good luck on the move Joel, and yes please,i could use your boxes.:)
#11: Joel Lynn (furface1) on May 8, 2012 [SPOILER]
Well, Al, you could have them if we get around to unpacking them before your move. The border patrol might think a load of empty boxes is a strange think to take into Canada, ha ha. Although my new place is only a few hours away from your old place, I think.
#12: Jota (jota) on May 8, 2012
Yeah! Recycle, mortify the border patrol, have fun!
#13: Aldege Cholette (aldege) on May 8, 2012
Your right Joel, you won't be far from where we are now. If i knew you were headed this way,i wouldn't have sold, lol. As it is,i'll be getting closer to Susan, and i think Jota, and i'm not sure about Lollipop, and i know there's a few from Quebec that i'll be moving closer to.:)
#14: Joe (infrapinklizzard) on May 8, 2012 [SPOILER]
Joel -- my condolences on your move. I grew up about 10 miles west of Rochester, in the snow belt. However your portion of lakeside gets even more snow. D:

Unless you actually *like* snow. In which case you should seek professional help. Like a snow plower. Who's a psychiatrist.
#15: Joel Lynn (furface1) on May 9, 2012
Joe, we're retired, so if it snows, we can just stay in a watch it. We've already got the lawn tractor with snow-blower attachment, but only got to use it a couple of times this past winter. The snow isn't as bad where we are as it gets in Oswego or Syracuse. But if it gets too bad, we can go to the Caribbean for a couple of weeks!
#16: jewel crown (jewel) on May 9, 2012
Nice job. I love the flaps.
#17: Joel Lynn (furface1) on May 9, 2012
Thanks to Kristen, Teresa, Kadou, Jota, Aldege, and Jewel!
#18: Susan Duncan (medic25733) on May 12, 2012 [SPOILER]
Good luck on your move. I hate moving so am glad I never have to do it again. Aldege, you are moving further away from me ... Right now I am just down the lake from you near Kingston. You will be about 1000 km. away in New Brunswick. But we are never far away when we are here at PBN
#19: Joel Lynn (furface1) on May 12, 2012 [SPOILER]
Well, Susan, I'll be about 75 miles across lake Ontario from you as of Wednesday. We get the truck loaded in Maryland on Tuesday, drive to NY on Wednesday, and get unloaded on Thursday. I'll be glad when it's all done.
#20: Jota (jota) on May 13, 2012
Have a nice ride!
