Puzzle Description:

This was made for the logic, not the picture.

Another advanced logic puzzle. Again this one can be solved with either edge logic or 2-way/affirmation logic, or a combination of the two. I'm not sure it's possible to make a 5x5 puzzle that will require one while excluding the other.

As to the picture, well, it's definitely an afterthought. And there's just so much that can be done with 25 pixels. However, one could say that "The moon's shining, so go outside!" (It is, and it's still kinda warm outside, so maybe I will.)

i used affirmation logic (no matter where you place the 3 in
c1, c2r1 and c2r2 are always dots forcing the 2 clue in c2 down into r4/r5) and then you see that the 1 clue in r2 has to go in either c4 or c5 so you can put dots in r2c1 and r2c3

i see a fly hovering over a pile... never mind
haha

It's clearly a bat flying over a high chair...

oh wait, I'm mistaken. It's Sheet Lightning bringing me a package by airmail. You can just see the tips of his talons holding the square package. I wonder what it is and who sent it.

Fun puzzle, Joe. I had to think a minute. I like puzzles that make me think.

Also I'm enjoying all the Rorschach answers. I say it looks like a daddy bald eagle heading back to the nest on the cliff with the next meal and to relieve mama for awhile. :-)

Found to be logically solvable by gator.
#17: Gator (gator) on May 26, 2011 [HINT]
I would call it affirmation logic. Nice puzzle.

I'd say it was the sun next to a mountain. Nice one, Joe.
