Puzzle Description:

Bob and Kate ponder whether to enter into the sanctum sanctorum of the Birla Mandir, or the Lakshmi-Narayan Temple, in Jaipur.

Bob still has blue paint in his hair from the Holi Festival of Colors, and Kate is wearing her new sari, which is now red from all the paint.

Here is how the photographer described this temple:

The temple has been constructed in white marble and has three domes, each portraying the different approaches to religion. The presiding deities here are Vishnu (One of the Hindu Trilogy Gods) called Narayan and his consort Lakshmi Goddess of wealth and good fortune. The temple is built is white in marble and exterior has carved sculptures of various mythological themes and images of saints. The interior has large panel in marble of mythological proceedings. The images of the deities are placed in the sanctum sanctorum. Built on raised ground, it is surrounded by large lush green gardens.

Birla Mandir is sheer poetry in stone was built over a span of ten years by the Birla Foundation.

i loved solving this. what a beautiful puzzle and very representative of the real thing. i really like the scale of the building in relation to the couple. putting the couple off center is a nice counter to the symmetry. and you drew them in such a way that they appear to be leaning slightly backward as they look up. very nicely done.
