Puzzle Description:

Bob hopped on a plane and flew to Yellowknife (in the Northwest Territories), then he drove across frozen lakes on the Ice Road on a snow mobile, then he put on a miner's hat and went on a tour down into the underground diamond mine, and then he bought a big, beautiful diamond ring to put around his sweetheart's finger. She stuck with him in the hard times, now he is going to share his windfall with his soulmate. :-)

Thanks, Kadou and Linda. I love the warmth of the southwest, so when I had to go to Yellowknife in February (to do a training on FAS), I was freezing my tush off. My son John (who has FAS) got to drive a snow mobile on the Ice Road and he got to meet the famous Snow King.

i figured out all except the miners hat since i thought it was a policeman
i especially like the top 2 images
based on the title i imagined an interesting crossword puzzle
