After winning the lottery, the first thing Bob does before he start spending his money is head to Notre Dame Cathedral in Montreal to say his prayer of Thanksgiving, and to make a donation to the church's fund to aid the homeless in his city.

While he is visiting this majestic basilica, he buys tickets for himself, his family and friends to attend the Handel's Messiah concert before he leaves town on his travels. At the concert, he slips each loved one an envelope with a little surprise inside.

I have learned (from my personal experience), in a situation like this, it is not only rewarding to give "off the top," but it also seems to come back in multiple blessings of abundance. :-)
