Puzzle Description:

...I want some more." The heart-wrenching plea uttered by Oliver Twist, when he dares ask the master for another bowl of gruel. Written by English author Charles Dickens, "Oliver Twist" portrays life in 19th century London, most notably, the travails of child laborers. Oliver Twist is an orphan who, at the age of nine, toils in a workhouse, where he and the other child laborers subsist on very little food ("three meals of thin gruel a day, with an onion twice a week, and half a roll on Sundays"). One day the starving boys cast lots; the loser would have to ask the master for more gruel at that evening's supper. The task falls to Oliver. That night, with empty bowl and spoon in hand, he walks up to the workhouse master and utters the famous line: "Please, sir, I want some more."

No guesses for me based on the title but a very rewarding image. Playing a bit with the black background might've added a bit a difficulty but I'm not complaining either!

Food, glorious food
Hot sausage and mustard ...

Excellent rendition of Oliver Twist. You got the facial expression just right!

It's sad to think there are still children in the world who live and work in similarly dire circumstances.
