Puzzle Description:
Baby's not happy when the diaper is full. To honor #42

That's one mad baby. If it's not the diaper causing him to make that face, I'll bet it's because he almost got stuck on this puzzle like I did. :D#2: Kai-Uwe Zickerick (conzick) on Aug 25, 2010 [SPOILER]
If you can solve this puzzle at an age of two or three months - this would be a WPBN-Sensation!#3: Jota (jota) on Aug 25, 2010
Thanks for your entry.#4: Adam Nielson (monkeyboy) on Aug 25, 2010 [SPOILER]
He has a serious case of craniosynostosis!#5: Tom O'Connell (sensei69) on Aug 31, 2010
thanks for entry, Kai#6: Wombat (wombatilim) on Oct 7, 2010 [HINT]
I did a fair bit of 2-way logic on this one.#7: Web Paint-By-Number Robot (webpbn) on Oct 22, 2010
Once you're stuck from line & color logic, look at R12. The 6 cannot go on the right, or there is a contradiction on R13. More line logic gets you most of the way there. Then it gets tricky.
An argument could be made that some edge or zig-zag logic can be used, starting in R23C11, because of all the lone 2 clues with a 1 on each end of that zig-zag. This does allow the puzzle to be solved, but could potentially be considered "guessing." Alternately, it can be worked out with more 2-way logic:
R22: if the remaining 2 is in C17&18, R33 doesn't work. Those are white. More line logic.
R18: If C10 is black, C 8 & 9 must also be black. This is a contradiction. C10 is white. A little more line logic.
R18 again: If C 8 & 9 are black, it creates a contradiction in R16 & 17. C8&9 are white. A little more line logic.
C15: If R21&22 are black, it creates contradictions in R25 and in C17. R21&22 are white.
The rest solves with line logic.
