Topic #67: Special Messages Place
By Nancy Snyder (naneki)

#1: Nancy Snyder (naneki) on Oct 24, 2007

I thought we might need a place specific for leaving a message for someone ....
#2: Nancy Snyder (naneki) on Oct 24, 2007
Robert Kummerfeldt (rmkummerfeldt) I would like to thank you for your comments on my puzzles...(& gypso was right..I want to try to do your pix)
#3: Robert Kummerfeldt (rmkummerfeldt) on Oct 24, 2007
Thanks - It amazes me how you can combine great pictures with extreme difficulty, and still keep them with unique solutions. Even if I had the artistic talent you have, I would never have the patience.

Guess I'll have to dig into the family pictures to find something. Now where's that picture of Brad Pitt? Wait - did I say that out loud?!?
#4: Nancy Snyder (naneki) on Oct 24, 2007
LOL - I'll be waiting!
#5: Nancy Snyder (naneki) on Oct 25, 2007
Gitte - your my only hope!
I need some intense, not so easy B&W puzzles!!
#6: Gitte Olesen (granny40) on Oct 26, 2007
I'll see what I can do. Don't worry naneki, I'll create some in near future ;o)
#7: Nancy Snyder (naneki) on Oct 26, 2007
ahhhh I can breathe easy now
#8: Nancy Snyder (naneki) on Oct 26, 2007
OH NO I have to buy printer ink!!
Gitte you did one for me & I ran out of ink, do it when I get back from the store THANK YOU!!
#9: Deana L (FFsWife) on Nov 3, 2007
Hey Twillis... is this extreme makeover hoopla affecting you at all? Police & Fire Command is in the parking lot of the church I work at. I have a feeling it's going to be a very long week. :D
#10: Twillis (twillis) on Nov 3, 2007
No, huh, hadn't heard anything about it. But I tend to be fairly oblivious.
#11: Deana L (FFsWife) on Nov 3, 2007
LOL... 56th(ish) & Leavenworth, like 2 houses south of Leavenworth. Emergency services set up shop in the parking lot early this morning and will remain until next Sunday some time (at least). They're taking down the house Monday morning by driving a monster truck through it (according to one of the fire chiefs). All of Leav is no parking. Their shuttling people in from the shopping center to the east (55th?). I don't usually go to the church on Saturday's but I was called up there twice today... it's gonna be a looooong week! :D
#12: Gypso (Gypso) on Nov 3, 2007
Oh goody! We'll all get to see a part of Deana and Twillis's hometown! Sorry about all the fuss you'll have to endure though. Let us know when it airs? ^>^
#13: Deana L (FFsWife) on Nov 3, 2007
Will do... Apparently I missed my opportunity to meet Ty. Apparently he stopped by the church at some point while they were setting up VERY early this morning. *shrug* Oh well. I suppose I'll live. :D
#14: Twillis (twillis) on Nov 4, 2007
I liked Ty better on Trading Spaces, anyhow.

But that is amazing close to the old homestead. Funny that I missed it. In my defense, we've been out in the evening looking at the comet instead of TV.
#15: Gypso (Gypso) on Nov 4, 2007
Maybe it was the comet that we saw last night and not the Taurids Meteor Showers. It certainly was VERY bright and large, slow and long. It ran east to west. What was it's name Twillis?
#16: Twillis (twillis) on Nov 4, 2007
If if you saw it moving it was a meteor.

The comet is VP Holmes. You can see it with the naked eye, but if you aren't looking for it, it looks like a star. In binoculars you can see it's a cloud. In the Northern Hemisphere it is pretty much up all night as it is fairly close to the pole star.

The comet is getting a lot of attention this time around, because it suddenly flared up a million times brighter than it had been.

This might be helpful: http://www.popastro.com/sections/comet/CometHolmes.html
#17: Deana L (FFsWife) on Nov 4, 2007
Looks like we're fixing dinner every evening for the "parking lot people", which consists of the fire, ems and police officers who are on standby in case of an emergency and the city folks (roads, water, power, inspectors, etc) who are on standby to do their jobs when they're needed. Tonight we had 25 or so people. I expect that number to get bigger every night. Tuesday we're making a special effort to bring in ALL the cops, firemen and city guys... we're cooking chili for 100 (I'm beginning to wonder if that'll be enough). Anyone wanna volunteer to bring a dessert? :D
#18: Twillis (twillis) on Nov 5, 2007
Well, you know, considering my cooking skills, I'd hate to run the risk of "assaulting an officer".
#19: Deana L (FFsWife) on Nov 5, 2007
lol! If cops are anything like firemen, they'll eat anything and enjoy it... really! I don't know how those guys eat some of the things they do and enjoy it!
#20: Gypso (Gypso) on Nov 5, 2007
Thank you so much Twillis. Do the binocs have to be particularly strong? Now I know what and where to look. The sky is overcast tonight. I'll try on the first clear night. I do appreciate the link. Thank you! ^V^

Life sounds pretty exciting in your part of town Deana. Good luck with the chili for 100. I hope that you're not doing this alone?! ^>^
#21: Deana L (FFsWife) on Nov 6, 2007
I do a Christmas party every year and cook chili for 100 for that, so I'm an old pro. Can't quite do it in my sleep, but it's not bad. The time consumer is cooking all the ground beef... that takes absolutely forever!
#22: Twillis (twillis) on Nov 6, 2007
Regarding the comet -- any size binoculars will let you see something. You can even see that it's a blurry star with the naked eye, once you know where to look.

With magnification, you should see a cloudy disk with a bright center. The tail is pointed almost directly away from us, so you won't see that.

A funny thing about magnification is that the more you magnify something, the dimmer it gets (because the same amount of light is effectively being spread across a larger area). So the comet blob may look roughly the same size through binoculars as it does through a telescope. What's happening is that you can see dimmer regions with binoculars than you can with the scope. In the scope, you are just seeing more detail of the brighter center bits. It was very cool a couple of days ago, as you could see a star was shining through the outer portions via scope.

Anyway, it still looked pretty bright last night so you should still be able to see something for awhile yet.
#23: Nancy Snyder (naneki) on Nov 6, 2007
Gitte I wanted to tell you thank you for all the puzzles, they're great I've enjoying each and every one of them..I'm on your last one now. I haven't been able to comment on anything for over a week now so here is my comment for all of them..thank you thank you thank you ............(thats a bunch of dittos)
#24: Gypso (Gypso) on Nov 6, 2007
Tonight was your big chili cook off night Deana. I sincerely hope that you're not still cooking the ground beef... How did it all go?

Thank you Twillis for the binocs vs telescope explanation. You're very good at that. Do you teach? I know you're a "database monkey" by day. Perhaps by night? Anyway, I am enjoying the comet thru your descriptions because I'm absolutely socked in at my house. Tomorrow is another night.

Thanks ditto Dottes for sharing your part of the world with me (and subsequently everyone else). ^>^
Drippy gray, brrr and cheers from Pacifica.
#25: Gitte Olesen (granny40) on Nov 7, 2007
You'r welcome naneki :o) Thanks
#26: Twillis (twillis) on Nov 7, 2007
Nah, I don't teach. That was just me repeating what my husband told the neighbor kids the other night.

So maybe it's database monkey by day, copy cat by night, huh?
#27: Sarah Andrews (sarah) on Nov 8, 2007
Hi everyone! I'm back -- have been in a Veterans hospital (nothing serious) and the worst part was NO PBN! You can imagine the pain of that!!! I obvously missed a lot of good things! A comet, a makeover, the big chili dinner.

Message to Gitte: I know you are supposed to have surgery this month (forget where it's written) and I have been thinking about you and I hope that it goes great/or went great and that you recover quickly.
#28: Gitte Olesen (granny40) on Nov 8, 2007
Hi. Still waiting for a date. Don't know if it's going to be before X-mas. Look in the mail every day. Thanks.
#29: Nancy Snyder (naneki) on Nov 8, 2007
Hey Sarah, glad your back..though I just thought you were having comment problems like I was.
PS: still waiting for a picture, that goes for you too Gitte :)
#30: Twillis (twillis) on Nov 8, 2007
Don't worry, the comet is still hanging around (can't speak for the chili).
#31: Twillis (twillis) on Nov 8, 2007
BTW, naneki, maybe you could do something with http://s114.photobucket.com/albums/n264/roboterri/Dog/?action=view&current=harcatch.jpg ; that's what I usually use for my user icon.

heh heh heh
#32: Nancy Snyder (naneki) on Nov 8, 2007
lol...gee, I'll give it a try
#33: Gypso (Gypso) on Nov 8, 2007
Sarah I'm so sorry about your recent hospital stay. Best wishes and gentle hugs for a speedy healing. :)

Gitte, you must be going bonkers waiting for a date. Please let us know so that we can send global love to you. ^>^

Twillis a copy cat by night? lol You're almost as crazy as me! I like that in a person ;-)

How did the chili go Deana? I haven't received any here yet... ^v^
#34: Nancy Snyder (naneki) on Nov 10, 2007
OK Gitte, you are challenging me to do even better, boy you do such excellent puzzles. I really wish we could meet!
#35: Gitte Olesen (granny40) on Nov 10, 2007
naneki thanks :o) and yes.. that would be fun.
Hmm... I'll make some coffee if You drop inn ;-)
I'll even bake a cake. (And that I haven't done in years) ;o)
#36: Nancy Snyder (naneki) on Nov 10, 2007
I'm ready, just tell where your at & I'll find a way to get there! (I'll probably need a passport, won't I?)
#37: Deana L (FFsWife) on Nov 11, 2007
Sorry I kinda disappeared the last week... things have been crazy around here. Chili dinner went well. Everyone raved. Didn't have to cook all the beef, the pastor's wife helped out tremendously!

Ended up going to the reveal yesterday. Got a front row seat (treating the cops & firemen right gets you places!). It made for a VERY long day (was on my feet from 9 am to 5 pm) but I don't regret it a bit. It's supposed to air either the last week of January or sometime in February. I'll keep you posted. :)
#38: Gypso (Gypso) on Nov 12, 2007
Hurray Deana. I'm so glad that all went well and am looking forward to watching the broadcast.

I think that I may have seen the comet Twillis! We had 2 clear nights recently and I'm sure it was the comet. It was cool. Twice the size of the nearby stars and more gold in color. I couldn't find our binoculars but it really stood out so I'm certain it had to be the one. Thank you so much. It was a real treat. :D

Naneki, if you decide to go visit Gitte can I slip into your luggage? I wanna go too!
#39: Nancy Snyder (naneki) on Nov 13, 2007
gypso..at the price of air fare, we might have to ship ourselves via Fed Ex. but if we could do it we would be able to visit Gitte & Mercy..wouldn't that be great!
#40: Twillis (twillis) on Nov 13, 2007
Gypso -- Yes, the comet definitely has a yellow cast. I couldn't see the color from the city, so that puts you one up on me.
#41: Gypso (Gypso) on Nov 13, 2007
Let's go Naneki!!! I'm game. :D

Isn't it funny Twillis. You'd think by my location (15 miles south of San Francisco) that I'd have a terrible time star gazing. Luckily I live in a valley and the mountains block most of the lights. I say most because on very pea-soup foggy nights the lip of the bowl I live in glows orange. Thank you for pointing the comet out to me. I would have missed it all together if you hadn't (ox). ^>^
#42: Nancy Snyder (naneki) on Nov 22, 2007
HAPPY THANKSGIVING (for all of you in the United States)
#43: Gypso (Gypso) on Nov 22, 2007
Same to you Naneki. :)
#44: Nancy Snyder (naneki) on Dec 11, 2007
5 more puzzles to go until we reach the "2000" mark...I think we should celebrate it!
#45: Nancy Snyder (naneki) on Dec 11, 2007
Ben - I'm still working on your puzzle, having a hard time creating it so there isn't too much guessing..
#46: Nancy Snyder (naneki) on Dec 11, 2007
down to 3 more to 2000 :)
#47: Gypso (Gypso) on Dec 11, 2007
Are you working on #2000 now Naneki?
Haven't you created 135 puzzles so far??? That's astounding! And it puts you in the #3 spot of top number of puzzles created. You're just 9 less than Gitte!
Congratulation to all 3 of you: Jan, Gitte and Naneki.
Thank you for many hours of puzzle entertainment! :D
#48: Jan Wolter (jan) on Dec 12, 2007
Um, there are only 1604 puzzles on the site.
#49: Nancy Snyder (naneki) on Dec 12, 2007
what about the puzzle #'s?
#50: Nancy Snyder (naneki) on Dec 12, 2007
ah, I see many puzzles have been deleted. Bummer it sounded so exciting..I guess we have almost 400 to go :(
#51: Gypso (Gypso) on Dec 12, 2007
Look at all the new authors Naneki! It won't take very long. :)
#52: Nancy Snyder (naneki) on Dec 13, 2007
? gypso ? where do you find NEW authors?
#53: Gypso (Gypso) on Dec 13, 2007
Mostly I see all the new names on the HOME page. But an easy way would be to go to USERS, then click "puzzles created". The list is sorted by most to least and you will have to do some sifting. It's pleasing to see all the new talent though. :)
#54: Nancy Snyder (naneki) on Dec 13, 2007
Yes, I've noticed all the puzzles created by new people :) I thought maybe there was an area that showed how long a person has been a member on this site..that is something I was curious about :)
#55: Gypso (Gypso) on Dec 13, 2007
Sorry. If there is such a feature I'm not aware of it. :)
#56: Jan Wolter (jan) on Dec 13, 2007
I'm not sure if that information is even recorded anywhere.
#57: Deana L (ffswife) on Jan 20, 2008
Home Makeover Update, for those that are interested. As of now (and everything is subject to change) the Extreme Makeover: Home Edition that was shot here will be airing on Feb. 10. Promised I'd let you know, so... now ya know! ;)
#58: Bionerd (nieboo) on Jan 20, 2008
Are you in it?
#59: Deana L (ffswife) on Jan 20, 2008
Dunno! Definitely a possiblity. I was front row, dead center in front of the house on reveal day. I the brunette that's JAMMED up against a mailbox. ;)
#60: Bionerd (nieboo) on Jan 20, 2008
Ooo Exciting. I'll definately check it out then. Not that I'll know you once i see you.
#61: Nancy Snyder (naneki) on Jan 20, 2008
Cool..I'll mark my calender
#62: Twillis (twillis) on Jan 21, 2008
Hee hee... all the better to stalk you with!
#63: Nancy Snyder (naneki) on Jan 21, 2008
nieboo I did a puzzle of her, maybe that will help
#64: Deana L (ffswife) on Jan 21, 2008
T, you wanna stalk me, all ya gotta do is call. We'll do breakfast or something. ;)
#65: Twillis (twillis) on Jan 21, 2008
Aw, man, where's the sport in that?
#66: Deana L (ffswife) on Jan 21, 2008
lol... no sport... but it makes the stalking in the future easier. THEN you know EXACTLY what I look like. ;)
#67: Gypso (Gypso) on Jan 22, 2008
Thanks for the update on the air date Deana. I'm looking forward to it. :)
#68: Arduinna (arduinna) on Feb 4, 2008
Okay, several of you were asking about my myspace (and/or facebook), and I've been away from the PBN for a few days and I lost the thread. Anyway, I now have a myspace. It's very basic with no pictures or anything. I have no idea how to find other people on it-- I'm a noob!! So, I'll just put my info out here for all who may be interested and hope it's enough for you to find me! Theresa Richardson is my full name (which might be common, I'm sure), so trichardson@rose.edu is my email. Is that enough to find me? Oh, look for me on Myspace, not Facebook. I want to save that for school. I hope to hear from some of you!!
#69: Nancy Snyder (naneki) on Feb 4, 2008
Arduinna..I added you to my space, accept my friend request then you'll be able to add Gypso & others from here
#70: Arduinna (arduinna) on Feb 4, 2008
Did it! You rock!
#71: Nancy Snyder (naneki) on Feb 4, 2008
kool
#72: Deana L (ffswife) on Feb 10, 2008
Just a reminder... the Extreme Makeover: Home Edition espisode that we've been talking about is supposed to air tonight. 8 Eastern, 7 Central. It's a two hour special. If there are any locals besides T & I, there's a local special on channel 9 that starts an hour before the show. You see a long haired brunette in the crowd that's standing next to (to the right of) a mailbox, that would be me. :)

Again, it's always good to be nice to your local cops and firemen. ;) The cops scored me tickets to the event for the volunteers and workers where they see the show with the family tonight. Anyone wanna tape the show for me? ;)
#73: Bionerd (nieboo) on Feb 10, 2008
I'm taping it. If you need it. Although I just started and it's 15 minute into it.
#74: Nancy Snyder (naneki) on Feb 10, 2008
it's recording at my house too. (all of it) :)
#75: Deana L (ffswife) on Feb 10, 2008
Well, I made it on tv.... for a split second. But the only reason I saw me was because I know where I was standing and what I was wearing! :D

I believe that you'll be able to see the episode on abc.com later tonight for those of you not able to see it on tv. Haven't checked my tape to see if it worked yet (I'm terrible at programming my VCR :D). Hope you guys enjoyed the show...
#76: Bionerd (nieboo) on Feb 10, 2008
I saw a brief glimpse of a mailbox before the show went black for awhile.
#77: Nancy Snyder (naneki) on Feb 10, 2008
It's recording with an hour still to go..can't wait to see our Deana of TV !!
#78: Deana L (ffswife) on Feb 10, 2008
There's only one mailbox! And we became best friends! ;)
#79: Bionerd (nieboo) on Feb 10, 2008
Haha, so then maybe I did see you if I knew who you was....ha.

#80: Twillis (twillis) on Feb 11, 2008
Very cool. It was a pretty good episode.
#81: Twillis (twillis) on Feb 11, 2008
Also, please tell me that included a basement. They kept making a big deal about how it was all one level, but I'm thinking, dude, you need a basement in Kansas!
#82: Deana L (ffswife) on Feb 11, 2008
No basement but they included one of those reinforced storm rooms... We had a lot of discussion about that the week of the build... we were assured that it was taken care of.
#83: Arduinna (arduinna) on Feb 11, 2008
I missed it. :(

The complete Jane Austen has been on PBS, and I completely forgot about trying to catch Deana! Maybe I'll try abc.com tonight. Do they keep them on for several days?
#84: Twillis (twillis) on Feb 11, 2008
Well, maybe the storm room makes more sense with his situation.
#85: Deana L (ffswife) on Feb 11, 2008
I believe so Arduinna... I was told that they have several of them online, so I imagine that they keep it up at least for a little while....
#86: Gypso (Gypso) on Feb 11, 2008
Deana was your hair pulled back in a ponytail with a white scrunci? (sp?)
It was a great episode. I cried.
#87: Deana L (ffswife) on Feb 11, 2008
pulled back, probably, but no scrunchie... still haven't had a chance to review my tape... my mother-in-law called and said she saw me... I know I was wearing an Operation Dotte t-shirt with a denim longsleeve overshirt and maybe a brown leather jacket depending on when the particular shot was done...
#88: Gypso (Gypso) on Feb 11, 2008
Was it a light blue denim or dark blue?
#89: Deana L (ffswife) on Feb 11, 2008
light... hair could also be down... I put it up and took it down at various times thru the day...
#90: Gypso (Gypso) on Feb 13, 2008
Have you gotten a copy of the tape yet Deana? Have you seen yourself?
#91: Deana L (FFsWife) on Feb 14, 2008
I have a copy, but I haven't been able to look at it yet. I saw myself at the event the other night (kinda), but I haven't been able to go through it again on my own, yet... things are kinda crazy around here right now... I'll get to it! I promise! ;)
#92: Nancy Snyder (naneki) on Feb 18, 2008
How many puzzles are on this site?? I know that many have been deleted..
I noticed that Linda (DOGMOM) has solved 1891 puzzles, has she run out of puzzles to solve?
Just curious :)
#93: Gypso (Gypso) on Feb 18, 2008
Yay Dogmom!
#94: Arduinna (arduinna) on Feb 19, 2008
I know if you logout, the site's homepage has the number of puzzles on it, but I don't know if it's updated automatically or if Jan has to do it. I only know this because I got on pbn from a computer I don't usually use!
#95: Jan Wolter (jan) on Feb 20, 2008
The site on the front page is always up to date. It's the current number of published puzzles on the site. I should put it someplace else so you don't have to logout to see it.
#96: Jan Wolter (jan) on Feb 20, 2008
This topic seems like an appropriate place to place this very important link:

http://valeriemates.com/corbin/
#97: Arduinna (arduinna) on Feb 20, 2008
Awww! So sweet! Congratulations! No wonder we haven't seen much of you around here lately.

I love the way you've named your children-- boys get Mom's last name (as a final last name) and the girl gets Dad's. I didn't change my last name when I got married, and I haven't yet decided what to do when I have children.

Congrats again!
#98: Deana L (FFsWife) on Feb 20, 2008
Oh JAN!!!!! CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!
#99: Bionerd (nieboo) on Feb 20, 2008

Best wishes for a speedy and healthy recovery for Mama.

Hugs from Denmark.
#104: Barb Edwards (babarann) on Feb 21, 2008
Happy birthday to Baby Corbin! Best wishes to his whole family!
#105: Nancy Snyder (naneki) on Feb 21, 2008
ok I checked, login area says 1887 puzzles , Linda has solved 1900..so we either have 100 or 113 to go until we reach the 2000 mark
#106: Arduinna (arduinna) on Feb 21, 2008
She's probably solved some puzzles that have been unpublished.
#107: Nancy Snyder (naneki) on Feb 21, 2008
I was thinking that...so who do you think will get to do the 2000th puzzle?
#108: Bionerd (nieboo) on Feb 25, 2008
Since this is a special messages forum..

I just got engaged this weekend! Yay me!
:)

I had to share with my web pbn family.

It's about time he stepped up to the plate!!
How's your Dad taking it?
#115: Bionerd (nieboo) on Feb 26, 2008
Thanks everyone!!

I think my dad is okay with it. He had eight years to get used to the guy.
I dunno, you might ask him. :)
#116: Nancy Snyder (naneki) on Feb 26, 2008
tell him to get back to chatting with us & I will :)
He seems like a real sweetie, it going to be a long or short engagement? I would love to come to YOUR wedding!
#117: Bionerd (nieboo) on Feb 26, 2008
Long...well I'm planning for Sept 09. We're going to the church this weekend to see what dates are available.

Is that a long engagement?

Yeah, we're trying to get my dad away from the computer to do other physical things, but he just got a playstation, so he just moved to another location to sit around.
I don't know why he's not talking anymore. He may have forgotten to check the forums.

My dad's Q-link buddies and him used to all meet up at various locations around the states once and awhile. We should get something together, everyone bring a bundle of printed out pbns. Haha.
#118: Nancy Snyder (naneki) on Feb 26, 2008
yes - sounds like fun...it would be great to meet everyone we have been getting to know here.
#119: Jan Wolter (jan) on Feb 26, 2008
Cool congratulations on getting engaged! That's so cool.

Valerie and I have been engaged for nine years. Sounds like you'll manage to get married before we do.

Wow Jan! I thought Justin and I were on that route too. But thankfully there seems to be marriage in sight.

In retrospect, I recommend getting married before having kids. It's hard to find time to plan a wedding once you have kids.
#122: Gypso (Gypso) on Feb 26, 2008
Congratulations on your and Valerie's engagement Jan. My brother and sister-out-law (as opposed to in-law) have been engaged 32 years this October. Seems like you and Valerie have enjoyed a beautiful engagement. :)
True, true regarding kids before marriage though. Speaking of no time left, how's the Mates/Wolter home doing?

Bionerd considering Jan's and my brother's respective life partnerships, yours is not a long engagement. Simply well planned. :)
#123: Arduinna (arduinna) on Feb 27, 2008
We dated for 6 years before we got married. Of course, I was 15 when we started dating! (He was 18). Now we've been married for 9 years. So, if you do the math, we've been together 15 years, and I'm 30, so half my life!

I just think it's important to find someone who makes you happy, someone you can be comfortable with, and marry them, don't marry them, do whatever is best for you. And if you find someone who DOESN'T make you happy, run! Life's too short not to be as happy as possible during as much of it as possible!

Beautiful advice Arduinna. :)

#140: Bionerd (nieboo) on Jun 6, 2008
Nancy - I have yet to take them, so maybe this weekend we'll do that.

qwery - No dolphins. But we are getting married right in front of the beluga whales. AND we might be getting penguins there for an hour for all the guests to touch and take pictures with.

All- Thanks!!

It should be a fun one to plan. I just have to finish this stupid grad school thing so I can actually THINK about it. My sister has done all the planning thus far.
#141: Nancy Snyder (naneki) on Jun 6, 2008
penguins...that would be cool! (their already dressed in a tux)
#142: Jan Wolter (jan) on Jun 7, 2008
I thought you hated penguins?
#143: Bionerd (nieboo) on Jun 8, 2008
it's true! but it's kinda perfect..since they are a big part of my life through this love/hate relationship with them.
I've hated them for so long, that I kinda like them.

Funny we had fathers day already this year i think its always the first sunday in June.

Its funny: there is a lot of words that are almost spelled and pronounced the same in danish and english.
Like:
sunday - søndag
father - far or fader
June - juni
July - juli
have/had - have/havde
there - der (sounds alike)
first - først
we - vi (sounds almost the same)
in - i

and many more
#147: Gypso (Gypso) on Jun 15, 2008
