Been done before. If I knew what the last one was titled, I'd link to it so you can see those comments. It wasn't pretty. You should, at the very least, add a disclaimer in the title that "this may be offensive to some" (though the clues make it pretty obvious what the final image will be).

I always thought that it was used pre-Nazi facing one way, then the direction was reversed in Nazi use, but could not remember which way was which. The Wikipedia article seems to explain it thoroughly. Both directions were, in fact, used historically in a variety of cultures. Unfortunately, the Nazi use is the most recent and prominent in world culture, generally.

The Hindu swastika is fairly different. The Nazis removed the dots and rotated 45 degrees.
