I beg to differ. "Random colours going together to form unintelligible blobs" isn't artistic on webPBN. There was lots of detailed solving down to the last pixel with no reward at the end. Clearly you have a developing talent because your puzzle was detailed and solvable, so next time *please* read the "Create Puzzles" link on the left of your screen to see what's fun for us solvers, and direct your talent to creating something meaningful, educational, artistic, humourous, or fanciful. Don't give up.

Glad I read #1 and didn't waste my time trying to solve it.

Happy to have obliged, Norma. Actually it was a good solve, lengthy and challenging, but if you haven't already peekd at the solution, take a look and you'll see what I meant. Aldège sometimes creates a similarly difficult solve in his car puzzles, but we're *always* rewarded with the image and happy to have spent the time. This one was just icky-picky and annoying.

If I had started it I would have quit long before finishing. But as you said, Aldege always gives us a great picture, worth the time and effort.

I saw that this had a 1 for quality and a 4 for difficulty (now a 3), so I knew it would be a tedious time-waster.

Deanna, definitely read the FAQ section, and solve lots of puzzles, so you know which sorts are fun to solve!

Wow, how ungrateful. I’d be interested to know whether Deanna produced another puzzle after these comments. I did enjoy the challenge. I am more interested in doing a challenging puzzle than discovering a good picture. Deanna, if you are still out there, don’t be discouraged. I thought this was an excellent puzzle.
