Beautiful foot stool. I can see him now with comfy slippers on his feet, 3 little girls cuddled on his lap plus as many animals that will fit, all sound asleep with a book open to where he left off reading to the girls.

Thanks, Norma. That's exactly the image I had in mind. :-)

Speaking about the solve, I found it to be an easier level (not a bad thing - everyone always speaks of easy ones as if it's a bad thing) and a beautiful picture. The framework under the cushion is gorgeous. Your dimensions are great, too. I don't know what it is, but some people have trouble getting leg lengths right. I think they have trouble translating the 3D picture in their head into a 2D picture on a screen. You clearly had no trouble with that. The pattern was a slight bit predictable once you figure out where the reds go, though. Overall, I liked it.

Charming!

I don't know when Teresa K started solving puzzles on this site, but she has been making puzzles since Nov of 2008. She has created somewhere around 1,000 puzzles here (we all lost quite a few puzzles when the system when down for a while). I have always found her puzzles to be well thought out, creative, fun to solve, and with a satisfying result. I have always looked forward to her puzzles and in my book she would fall into the expert puzzle maker category because she easily accomplishes what so many people cannot. She has the ability to make a great puzzle that is also a great picture.

Aw shucks. Thanks, Norma. I'm a little out of practice though. Maybe after I retire, I'll have more time to work on some more.

Thanks Aurelian and Kristen.

Pretty classy footstool Teresa. I'm not sure my old feet could handle such comfort. As it is now I use the dogs as my footstool. They're pretty comfy too. Thank you. I'm sure the girls will love it. :)

Wonderful! Fun solve and it took me awhile to figure out what it was. For a bit I thought it was going to be a pool table. My cats would enjoy it!

Thank you, Carol.

Your welcome, Aldege. You deserve only the best.

I love your footstool Teresa. The feet are great! You have succeeded in making the top look padded. Wow!

Just solved this one - must have missed it when it came out. Until I read the caption, I could clearly recognise the image as a small pool table with a few balls on it. It is the kind of table with no pockets, your aim is to get caroms by hitting on ball into another, or so that the ball you originally hit goes into another afterwards.

With the caption, I can easily see the footstool, and now when I try to see the pool table I can see the curved surface that is appropriate for a foot stool but would wreak havoc with a pool table.

Yes! We had a bumper pool table when I was a child. The lid flipped over to reveal a green velvet surface for playing cards.

I remembered ours being round, but it was likely octagonal like this one. I mainly used it as a surface for solving jigsaw puzzles.
