I sure hope someone can help me. I love doing the puzzles on this site but recently I haven't been able to. I can bring up the puzzle but trying to solve it has become very difficult. I used to be able to just click on the box & the entry I wanted to put there would be immediate. I could also hold down the button to do a whole row if I wanted. Now, I have to wait for it to respond to the row I want to do & then when I click on a box I have to wait for it to respond with the correct dot or fill-in. When I try to hold down the button it might fill-in the 1st & last boxes only or it might not respond at all so I have to try to re-do boxes over & over. I'm not real computer savvy so anything I try hasn't worked so far. I really miss be able to do these great puzzles. There are some very talented puzzle creators out there.:) I hope someone can help me figure this out. Thanks

For some reason your computer is being very slow. I have no way of telling why, but some things to try include

• Close other browser windows, or other programs running on the computer. One of them maybe be eating up your CPU.
• If you are running windows, you might want to make sure your virus protection is up to date and working. Some viruses can slow down your computer badly.
• If your computer has been turned on a long time, try rebooting.
• Sometimes temporary slowness can be caused by various software packages on your computer that do software updates or virus scans in the background.

Very likely this isn't much help. Windows computers seem to slow down with age, and I don't really know why.

Thanks so much Jan. I apparently had a problem with my computer because after it's visit to the computer Dr. it seems to be doing fine. I'm so excited to be able to do the puzzles again.:) Thanks for your time on my "dilemma".
