Entirely by accident, I discovered something pretty cool. If you hold the control button while scolling the scroll wheel on your mouse, you can change the size of the image in the window on your computer. This is really helpful in creating puzzles. I usually pull up an image in another browser, then adjust the window so I can see it and the puzzle I'm creating at the same time. I'm ok at recreating the images, but I've always had trouble if I needed to make the image smaller or larger, and now I can get them the same size! It doesn't work well for solving puzzles, though, because changing the screen size obscures the grid.#2: Rich Garrard (KCRich) on Jun 11, 2009
As soon as Microsoft can figure out a way to make the background color of a window transparent so you can see the window behind it, I think it will be much easier to make puzzles. :) Having said that, I am sure they would NEVER make a window background as a transparent color.#3: Brian Bellis (mootpoint) on Dec 11, 2009
Tranparent windows! Are you mad?
