I would like to personally thank whoever it was (or possibly more than one of you) that spent so much time going through all of my puzzles one by one and rating them all 1's, in order to lower my very high quality ratings. That means so much to me that you would do that. It's funny to see almost all of my puzzles that were 4 and 1/2 or 4 and 3/4 suddenly drop to 4 or 4 and 1/4 overnight. Most of them had 20-30+ raters, so you must have had several IDs and gone through my puzzles several times, in order to drop them so much. I hope that gave you great pleasure.#2: Sylvain "WCPman" (qwerty) on Apr 12, 2009
Adam I know how much the rating of your puzzle matter to you but think about it if someone took time to down rate all you 300 and + pluzzler and that on many diffrent id this person is a big loser that as nothing to do than attacking one of the most contributing member of this small community. Asshole going to be asshole that a fact of life that we can not change and just by mentionning that it bother you you are giving him(or her) fuel to continue attacking you.#3: Adam Nielson (monkeyboy) on Apr 12, 2009
You know how the majority ( if not all) your puzzler are vastly appreciate by more than the majority of the user here so don't give s.... to those loser who are in here just to piss you off. You are better than that and they certainly don't worth you spending time acknowleging they action
Thanks for those kind words, man. I appreciate it. And of course you are right. I just wanted to vent, that's all. It's all good now.#4: Jan Wolter (jan) on Apr 12, 2009
I did some looking around and found a user who gave an awful lot of Adam's puzzles "1" ratings, but the same person gave an awful lot of everyone else's puzzles "1" ratings too. I don't understand this person's rating algorithm, but I don't think they are exhibiting any particular grudge against Adam. They rated some Adam puzzles highly too.#5: Adam Nielson (monkeyboy) on Apr 12, 2009
Probably I should adopt the convention of discarding some of the lowest and highest ratings before averaging.
No problem. I was just wondering what that proves by doing something like that. If it makes him/her feel better, so be it. I just wanted to know if it was one person, and apparently it was. Thanks.#6: Jota (jota) on Apr 18, 2009
I totally agree with every word Sylvain said.
